    Question on shipping a rifle.

Just a quick question. Can I ship a gun to myself if I already own it? For example, I have a few guns in AZ that I was thinking about getting and mailing to myself here in CA. I could just bring them on a plane but figured it might be less of a hassle to mail them.. If possible. And the guns are CA Legal, of course.

Flying with firearms can have advantages. I've been pulled out of the check-in line and gone through the VIP check-in a couple times.

If you want to mail them to yourself, you can. No FFL is needed and, don't listen to people who tell you that it's not legal for you to mail a long arm. It is perfectly legal for a non-FFL to mail long guns. Now, if you are talking about handguns, you would need to be a FFL to use USPS. But, you can send them Fed-ex or UPS if you want to.
