    Body Armor Recommendations Needed-PS930 RBA

This seemed like the best place to post this.

I've had my PS930 Ranger Body Armor for quite a while now I need to modernize. It was a great piece of gear but it lacks magazine pouches or any attachment options. I'm looking at getting a modern soft armor package with optional plate capability. I need to know if my soft armor is compatible with any modern carriers. I know the PS930 was not a SPEAR/BALCS cut soft armor.

Basically, should I even bother looking for a carrier upgrade, or should I just start from the bottom and purchase a new complete package? I'm not planning on selling this one simply because it's been quite a few places with me. I'd like to hear any recommendations or specific models you may have experience with.
    Thanks.

ETA: If you know where to get some SPEAR/BALCS cut armor for a good price, let me know.

the PS930 looks to be a 'concealable cut' soft armor. Beez combat systems makes a carrier that has rifle plate capability. It doesnt have molle attachments however.

I see. it looks like they just made up a carrier for what was available at the time. The plate that is in it now is only for right handed users. Since I fire left handed it can be a little difficult with this vest/plate configuration. I suppose I'll just have to start selling some stuff to save up for new armor, plates and carrier.

Looks like the only model that would work is the TAV.

Try Tactical Tailor (http://www.tacticaltailor.com/armorc...cessories.aspx) or Bulletproof Me (http://www.bulletproofme.com/TACTICAL_Body_Armor.shtml), I believe they both offer carriers for concealable armor that take rifle plates. They also both offer full carrier/armor/plate packages (TT only if you are LE/MIL).
