    Decisions... help!

So I've had a hankering for a new gun sometime this year.... and I can't decide. I'm on a limited budget, so I can really only afford one or the other, particularity with ammo.

    1. Compact / subcompact XD9 (hopefully from a fellow calgunner) and stock up on 9mm before next year.... May be handy with the CCW stuff going down.

    2. CMP Service Grade M1 Garand... they won't be selling them forever!

    Help!

Go for the M1 Garand. They will also go up in value.

That was part of my thinking, I LOVE the M1, and really is my preference anyhow.

lol, well I guess that simplifies things... thanks guys! I really wanted to get an M1 soon anyhow: got a soft spot for WWII rifles.

Now to get down to the notary and make sure I've got a good copy of my C&R.

Garand - the xd will be available new far into the forseeable future. They aren't making WWII era Garand's anymore.
