It's an updated version of the Atchisson Assault-12, which came out in the 1970s.

This new version of the Atchisson Assault Shotgun is considered to be the third variant. Since, the Dae Woo/Gilbert USAS-12 is considered to be the second variant, which emerged in the late 1980s/early 1990s.

So, nothing new to see. Move along, move along.

Uhh. Full auto shotgun = almost impossible to control? It doesn't shoot that fast in FA mode. Not really worth having, IMO.

The Atchisson weighs something like 10 lbs... empty... 12 gauge ammo is heavy as hell.

And, well, max useful range of about 100 yards.

I don't know why, I just dislike the AA12. Seems like a real dumb idea to me.
