WOOOO!! WW1 Project

well in class we were all assigned different subjects to cover for ww1, and i was lucky enough out of the 40 students in my class to be assigned "weapons of ww1" yah!!!

Any input on things i should do or some fun facts about specific weapons and things for WW1??

haha i pretty sure any "prop" wouldnt be allowed at school, still in High school. haha how i would love to bring in a 1903 and a 1911, both easily at hang. butttt pretty sure that wont end well. but still not as bad as phosgene and chlorine hahaa

you would be suprised what you can do if you go to the principal and talk to him/her directly.

In highschool, I made a foam and board "3D Presentation" on the mechanical function of the machine gun and it's overall impact on the future of modern warfare.

I made a fully colored and moving cutout glued to a presentation board that could be manually cycled to explain how some of the first self-loading rifles worked.

These were the most important and revolutionary weapon developments of World War I. Tanks, warplanes, and modern submarines were even more important in World War II and remain important today.

World War I also introduced the modern flamethrower http://www.firstworldwar.com/weaponry/flamethrowers.htm
