Kel Tec/Hi Point Carbine with BB for lefty

I have asked this in a couple of different threads, but have yet to receive an answer.

Has anyone shot a Kel Tec Sub 2000 or a Hi Point Carbine with a bullet button left handed?

Does it get in the way?

Is one carbine better suited for a left handed shooter than the other?

    Thanks,

    Duke of SD

I seen one at the Gun show last month and I believed the BB is located on the left side of the pistol grip. I could be mistaken. Have you try
asking DD ranch, they sell them?

I found their pic with BB, this configuration is more suited for a righty.

I just picked up a 4095ts with bullet button from dd's ranch. I will look later tonight and report back. The orentation does not really matter with the bullet button, as you cannot just drop the mag anyway.

I will pick up lefty and see if the bb gets in the way of grip at all.

Side note: the hi point is a blast to shoot. Have let 6 or 7 ppl shoot it, and they all loved it! Not made as well as others, but have not had one problem with FTF or FTE in over 500 rounds so far.

I think you can get the kel-tec without pistol grip, so you wouldnt need the BB.

checked it out. the bb is in the way for lefties. it is directly below the index finger. however, i could not feel it when holding the gun in firing position, as my finger curved over it in natural position. so my guess would be if your hands are big enough, it will not be a problem. I would call dd's directly and ask, maybe they can shave off part of the buttons height.

            hope this helped.

              Thanks Rocky!

              Can someone check their Kel-tec?
