What is the best cowboy style holster out there

I have a Ruger Super Blackhawk with a 7.5" barrel and want a cowboy type holster for it, complete with bullet loops. What's the best place to get one, either online or in southern CA, that can last for generations and be very well made?

I have had my Mernickle cowboy holster for years and i love it, made to order the way you want it...about a month turnaround time and priced right.

Every Mernickle holster is handmade in Texas, built with purpose, and worn with pride. Designed for real-world performance and all-day comfort, our rigs are trusted by competitive shooters, law enforcement professionals, and everyday Americans who expect more from their gear.

More info on gun leather than you're probably looking for. Those cowboy action guys can get a little serious about their rigs.

The Leather Shop is the place to share knowledge, ideas and tools for making your own leather projects. Whether you are a beginner or old hand at the craft of leather working, this is the place to meet.

I've had good luck with these guys:

Of course making your own is fun and not too difficult:

I just started down this road myself and am kicking myself for not doing so sooner...

El Paso Saddlery, or Galco. Top of the line, expensive, but you want it to last for generations right?

For a little something different I like the Australian Stock Saddle Company:

Another option is the El Paso Saddlery Company; they have been in business since the 1800's and they are making holsters that use the same pattern going back to the 1880's; I have one for my Beretta Stampede (Colt SAA clone) - they are worth the wait!:

I have been Cowboy Action Shooting for years. Have numerous holsters and rigs.

El Paso Saddlery is the best bar none for quality, delivery time and price.

These guys are the ones who made John Wesley Hardins original rig! Yes they've been around since then!

I figured a budget of $200 but I can easily go more if I get something worthy of surviving generations.
