sniper rifle

Does this mean I should sit in my bedroom window scanning the neighborhood for trouble with my PSS .308? I mean, I want to keep the neighborhood safe.

Isn't a "sniper rifle" just any old rifle in the hands of a trained sniper? I have to ***/u/me that you have been formally trained as a sniper if you have such a rifle. If you are not a sniper, please don't use the term "sniper rifle." I happen to own several "long range target rifles" which I shoot at 1000 yard compititions. Please grow up and don't help feed the antis.

This is where the use of a rifle round called a SLAP (Saboted Light Armour-Penetrating) would come in handy.

A 308 slap like shown in the above pic taken from the gun broken auction would leave no rifling ballistics on the projectile. .

So that means what? Good snipers go next door and replace the shattered window pane and remove the bullet from the BG in the 3 minutes before the cops arrive?

If I saw someone getting beat up outnumbered in the street I would (and have on many occasions -- college neighborhood) go out there with a bat and just start yelling to break it up. Shooting a few guys fighting in the street is sketchy, even if it came out with you in the right in the end. Now, if you see a guy shooting innocent civilians and you are 100% sure that is the situation, reach out and touch him, worry about consequences afterward.
