There are many compelling, legit reasons as to why gun control won't work that convey it in a legal fashion. Building a gun from hardware store parts is illegal. I believe the term "zip gun" comes to mind. I doubt it is illegal to have the picture, but probably not the sort of thing you should ask for on an above board gun forum.

While it's not what you were asking for, I doubt thtere will be many complaints.People don't like to be meddled with. We tell them what to do, what to think, don't run, don't walk. We're in their homes and in their heads and we haven't the right. We're meddlesome.

Theres a series of books by an author named Bill Holmes called "Home Workshop Firearms-How to design and build prototype firearms for defense and resistance". Nothing illegal about looking at designs. As matter of fact, I recall a section of his book on marketing and selling your manufactured firearms with all the ATF firearm manufacturer requirements. I believe you can buy his books on Amazon, so there you go. Have fun.Comment
