National ammo week November 12th through the 20th!

It's National Ammo Week the 12th of November through the 29th. There is a national buy at Walmart across the country on the 19th, between the hours of 1pm-3:30pm.

I'll buy something, not at Walmart (I like the little guy) but somewhere . . . will you???

Send the receipt to Frankenswine or Boxer, let them know how you feel about being a law abiding gun owner.

Would be fun if we set up groups to go into our local gun shops and emptied our wallets for ammo. Fun to see others spend money at the gun shops too.

I'll hit up Walmart too if they are going to have some kind of sale.

I'm in. Sounds like as good a reason as any to buy some ammo. Of course this means I'll have to go to the range and clear out some of the old stuff.
"A strong body makes the mind strong. As to the species of exercises, I advise the gun. While this gives moderate exercise to the body, it gives boldness, enterprise and independence to the mind. Games played with the ball, and others of that nature, are too violent for the body and stamp no character on the mind. Let your gun therefore be your constant companion of your walks."

I read the wal-mart buyout over at arf.com

Sounds fun, but then we're just putting more money into wal-mart instead of our gunshops. Kinda defeats the purpose of supporting the gunshops

Oh well... I'll support both wal-mart's buyout day and my local shops.

I agree 100%. Lets keep ol Mom and Pop alive. Walmart could care less if we all have guns. Somewhere an Exec is barfing at the thought of millions of gun out there. If you have a local shop please support them. They stand with us in this fight for the 2nd amd, Walmart does not.

i try to buy ammo every paycheck so i i'll just have to set aside money to buy twice as much as i normally do

dose buying from midway or cheaper than dirt constitute buying from the little guy? if so than i'm doing my part

I plan to buy 8 boxes of WWB in 9mm that day. I think that is enough for me to shoot in four months

20 rounds for every gun I own! (and more for the one's I really like to shoot). I'll tell the kids that we'll eat and get them shoes in December. After all, it will be Christmas! I got my priorities straight!

Dude, you bumped a 13 year old post.
Been gone too long. It's been 15 to 20 years since i had to shelf my guns. Those early years sucked.
I really miss the good old Pomona Gun Shows.
