So my Wife stops off after work on Wednesday at the Pasadena Turners location to pick up some 9mm ammo. It was PMC Bronze 9mm 50 ct. on sale for $10.59 (Wednesday special only... limit 5 boxes). She texts me that she is still waiting at the counter to be helped. This confused me because at that Turners location always had their ammo out on a back table.
This is where the FUD comes into play. The person at the counter told my Wife that all ammo (not shotgun) needed to be behind the counter as of LAST January. Also, this coming January they are required to have all the shotgun ammo behind the counter too.
I know this was not the case because we went there in June (maybe May...not sure the exact month) and bought $400 worth of ammo (both rifle and handgun) from the table with nothing behind the counter.
Does anyone know if this is some kind of new Pasadena City ordinance? Are they just BS-ing her? I figured that they might be getting ready for the new law to take affect in January. Though that only affects handgun ammo.
I know, I know... Turners.... but my Wife likes shopping there for her guns. I prefer other gun store locations, but until this I thought Turners was coming around. Their prices might be higher but they are convenient. My Wife does not mind paying more for that.
