    Cleaning Gear for Condo

    I recently moved into a rather small condo that's tight for space. I need to find a good cleaning solvent that won't stink up the whole place but will still leave my guns shiny. I've been using Shooter's Friend because it cleans better than anything else I had used prior, but that stuff lingers in the air and would be immediately noticeable to anyone that walked in to the place.

    How strong is the Hoppe's odor? It seems to be nearly as bad from what I recall but it's been a while. The other people that live here are pretty sensitive to odors so I need to keep them happy.

      M Pro 7 is the best I know of to do what you need. I'm sure others will have other suggestions.

      Hoppes is going to get you in trouble and maybe hi at the same time if used in a small space.
      I move slow but I make up for it by shooting poorly.

      When I hit the lotto I'm only shooting factory.

        lies =p
        I use it all the time and there are no ill effects, just make sure the window is open in the room. Even my chinchilla is ok with it and he's right next to my gun cleaning table.

              I'l have to look into M Pro 7.

              CLP is fine, it just doesn't clean as wellas I'd like.

                      Hoppes is pretty strong, it lingers and when I used it in the past, I always used a fan to circulate the air.

                      I use Breakfree CLP to clean and lube (in one step) and the odor is much better than Hoppe's.

                        I second MPRO7. Almost no smell at all. No dizzyness, no nothing.

                            2 words: puppy pads.

                            they absorb everything and lube doesn't soak through to the table.

                              M-Pro 7 for sure

                              I'd still open the windows and whatnot.
