How often do you dry fire?

I hear a lot that 80% of your practice should be dry fire and not with live ammo.

So how many you people actually do it? If I were to estimate, it's probably split 50-50 live ammo/dry fire.

Shooting is a perishable skill, do it often, and do it with no live ammo in the room.

The fate of the wounded rest in the hands of the ones who apply the first dressing.

As often as I can, otherwise at least once a week. Working on only the fundamentals every time.

While is still don't think dry firing is typically very safe, i am considering trying it more often and see if my shooting improves
I believe snap caps are a clever marketing ploy, and unless your rifle handgun is super old i don't believe you need them on anything.

Only during a function or safety check. The rest of the time I just run around the house going "pew pew pew".
The bullets with my name on it I'm not worried about, it's the "To whom it may concern" ones I'm worried about.

I do it often. Usually with a Glock or 1911. I have orange sticky targets on my wall for dryfiring.
