    Shooting Rests

I've been looking for a shooting rest since the scope on my AR died, my budget is pretty low, and perusing midway these are the options I've found:

#4 looks the best, and about the most I'm willing to spend. Any experience ir input with those or other rests in the price range?

If $50 is the most you want to spend on a front and rear rest, you'ld be better off getting decent quality sandbags for now.

I built my own from scraps around the house, less than $5 and works well.

I have the first one the Kolpin Sight-Vise don't bother even considering it . It's too small for an AR it will work for front rest .
Like what Peter W Bush said buy a lead sled

I have one and they work awesome.

I have a rest I bought from Cabelas for 75 bucks about 10 years ago. Its been so long since I used it I'm not even sure which model it is. I switched over to bags of lead shot. Two in the front and one in the back. Sandbags would work as well but since i reload for shotgun I had shot and not sand. Sand is cheaper. The rest made it hard for me to get behind the gun right. The bags can be moved and adjusted easier. They are not very light though.
