So my truck got broken into last night. I guess I could use the search function but I partially want to vent. My gun was stolen along with everything and I mean EVERYTHING inside. Aside from notifying the police which i've already done... Does anybody have any advice?

Thieves are the lowest form of life out there, except for liberal politicians, of course, but that's redundant.Comment

i'd contact pawn shops in the area where the items were stolen; and in the surrounding area. i'd give them the information needed for identification of your belongings. if items you own other than your gun are pawned... it's a probability the seller has your gun as well. if you have pictures of your items... get copies made and give to police and local pawn shops; keep a set of pictures for yourself as well.
if you have insurance on your items... contact the insurance company. you'll need police report. keep a copy of police report for yourself as well. your auto insurance may have coverage on items, and home insurance may have coverage for them as well.
sorry to hear about this theft. in the future... i'd suggest strongly that you not store a gun in your unattended vehicle.Last edited by bsg; 09-19-2010, 12:08 PM.Comment

Sorry that you got your truck broke into but it just dosent make sense that you would leave a gun either locked in a case or not locked on the floor board.
What were you thinking.Comment

I'm currious. What did the police do? Did they take a report?https://www.facebook.com/pages/Union...70812799700206
