Help in identifying this F&W??

I just picked this up from my Dad's safe, my Mom said it was her dads and is roughly 70 years plus??

Trying to get information on it, caliber?? No real distinctive markings other than the F&W on the handle. Sorry my photography skills are not that good.Thanks

nothing on the top middle of barrel? Tons of top breaks made, I just went through this, as I'm selling one. Mine is in 32 S&W and looks alot like yours. However they all look alike. Yours does look like it could be 32 S&W though.

Many small and large manufactures made these little pocket pistols from just before the turn of the century until the depression. The caliber could be just about anything that was being made then. Different .32 caliber cartridges and .38 S&W (NOT the same as .38 SPEACIAL!) were common calibers for these guns. If you are close enough to me, we could figure out what caliber it is, see if it's safe to shoot and maybe, run a few rounds through it. I'm no expert on these so, I may be off base here but, I would value it somewhere between $75 and $150 unless I found out differently after doing some research. Obviously, it's worth more than that in sentimental value though.

I'll say a Forehand and Wadsworth revolver in .32 Smith & Wesson caliber. Either made by Forehand & Wadsworth, Forehand Arms, or Hopkins & Allen.

But that's just a guess.

ahh yes in fact I think during my research I read the Forehand and Wadsworth was bought out by hopkins and allen. So yours and mine are probably the exact same but with different markings. Yours should be manufacted in the 1895-1910 range then. Unless I'm way off base.

Thanks for all the info everyone. There are no markings on the barrel, there is a very worn serial on the bottom of the grip that can't even be read completely. Do you know of a site where I can perhaps type in serial and find out date of manufacturing?? At least what I can get out of the serial number..
