(Edited to add...got an error message whiles posting, copied to paste in, and mistakenly only copied the last half of the message, posted below...well, I don't feel like re-writing it all now...needless to say a big +1 for City Arms).
Ok, back to City Arms...
So you walk in and first thing you notice is there is a cool selection of guns hanging on the wall. No self-imposed prohibitions about only hunting rifles and shotguns. If it's Kali-legal they seem to have or seem willing to deal with it. That's the way it should be. Up near the top is an immaculate WWII Johnson...not in my price range
, but definetly cool to see.
Did I mention the two gentleman working there were friendly and cool?
They also have a decent selection of milsurps....not a ton (maybe this varies)...but they had M59/66 and M59 Yugos, a number of 91/30s, a Finnish M39 (more on that later) and some others (I only had about 10-15 minutes to look). They also carry cases of milsurp ammo at reasonable prices.
So I am talking to the younger of the two and ask about the SU-16. It's priced a few hundred less than locally here in Cotati.
Back to the M39...
Well, it's mine now
.
And that's the end of the story until I go there next.
