i was interested in joining local NRA matches around my area and wanted to purchase a Garand or a Springfield '03 that was in good enough condition that could still shoot.
i've looked around local shops in NorCal, but a lot of these vintage firearms that i find look like crap and i feel like they might blow up in my hands when i fire off a round.
i figured going through the CMP would be the best way to get a vintage firearms such as the Garand, Springfield, even the M1-A1 Carbine.
However, how do i go about doing this? is it easy to get a rifle from them? how much will it cost me?
thanks,
