    Markell Inc Santa Rosa

Anybody ever deal with them. One of my coworkers buys everything from them, never been, never even heard of them. I plan on buying my first handgun(s) (after a month apart ) after I buy this other bike I want They seem to have good prices and everybody I know into guns never even heard of them The coworker says he works mostly with LEO's and has super cool stuff(im sure stuff I cant have). I hate to go in their without the intention of buying anything though, hate people that do that.

If they are related to the Markell's that had a shop in the avenues in SF they were great guys.

Mr. Markell did have the shop on Judah Street in SF for many years. I spent quite a bit of time in the shop, and had some friends working there. A very high percentage of the customers back then were LEO, mostly SFPD. It left a huge void when he, and then the SF Gun Exchange closed. I believe he chose to retire to Santa Rosa and still deal on a limited basis. I wouldn't hesitate for a second to do more business with him. Hope this helps.

        Markell

I've gone to Markell's for firearms and other duty gear. In fact, I just called there today about my next firearm purchase. I've found their prices are always competitive. Wild Sports in Orangevale can beat them sometimes, but only on guns they sell a whole lot of. Take Mark West Springs Road from 101 in Santa Rosa. You won't see anything but a small Streamlight dealer sign. At the very least, you'll get a decent internet price without the shipping. I ordered an AR15 varient from them. I was disappointed when it arrived. They took it back and got me what I wanted.

I've never even heard or them before and they are literally 5 minutes away from my house! I'll have to go by there. In fact, I will go there tomorrow!

Just went out to Markell Inc. a few minutes ago and it seems like a pretty cool place. Definitely geared toward law enforcement, but a usefull place for us civilians none the less!
