What type of paint for magazines?

I just got a Stag 10/30 magazine buts its grey and scratch up. I was wondering what kinda of non gloss black spray paint you can use to paint this magazine?


Also, another question. Is there any kind of wax use to anodized the lower receiver for protection.

Most lower receivers come from the MFG with a coating of some kind on them. The last few I have purchased came with a hard anodizing kind of finish.

If the finish on your magazine is GI, it's really a solid film lubricant. The 'trade-name' for this product is Perma-Slik G.

This stuff is pretty tough to come by (I found some via eBay) and it isn't cheap.

you can also try some aluma hyde II in black.

Went to home depot got some steel #00 fine steel wool and Rust-Oleum High Heat Black paint...

Just finish and it looks great. Same Texture and color as my lower.
