    TS Gun Show today??

There is a TS show at the Santa Clara County FG today right? The TS website appears to be gone so I can't find a schedule.

    Anybody going?

Yeah I talked to Sally Nordyke and she said the website is fine. The problem is their search engine ranking is all screwed up.

Went to the show... it was sort of disappointing this time.

It was a fairly small venue. Saw AR parts, old rifles, old shotguns, optics, ammo... Sonoma from Sacramento was there. It seemed like they were getting the most vistors. Had some lowers on sale, shotguns, rifles and a few handguns. I was eyeing a Rock Island 1911, but seemed kinda pricey.

I stopped and talked to the guy at the table with all the russian made rifles for a few minutes. Tried to see if he had any 91/30 strippers. He didn't, cool guy tho.

Did my rounds looking for anything cool. I think I was there for maybe an hour. After my third lap around the tables, it seemed like the armed security guard was eyeing me, probably thought I was trying to steel something. Bought some Hornady TAP personal defense 00 buck and made my way out (couldn't leave empty handed).

Wasn't very much to see there, as I suspected, but just stopped by to contribute my $8.00. Small gun show in San Jose is better then no gun show in San Jose.

Just got back and actually I would rather see NO gun show than what ever that was. I took my 9 year old son with a list of things we were looking for. Mostly for him. I found only TWO booths that didnt have a PR!CK behind the table. Sad part one was from sac.. so maybe ONE local guy and he didnt have what we were looking for.......

Who ever had the table in the middle on the right (PAST the Siaga w/the bipod) with all the NC Star and wanna be ranger gear was the worst.. I hope he didnt make a dime AND if we were anywhere else and you spoke to my son like that I would mash your mouth for your lack of respect......

If this is what the bay area has to offer then I will GLADLY keep my commerce elsewhere.

SJ Gunshow is crap and has been for years
I make a point of spending what parking and admission would be at a local gun store instead.
That way I have a box of ammo or something to show for my money rather than the feeling that I have just wasted time and money ie The way I have felt the last several times I was at the SJ show. Plus I support the guys who have been hanging in there in San Jose
