    Drop some prices and you'll see a surge. Their 1911s are way too much.

    Not much of anything is selling these days and a lot of companies are hurting.

    I never saw why S&W thought they needed to get into the 1911 game. It's a dead horse. I really wish they'd try to innovate and create something new. I don't think they've had an original product since the late 70's. 1911s, more (and less) ergonomic Glocks with the M&P and Sigma/Self Defense, the same 100 year old revolvers in various guises, and let's not forget "their" ARs.

      By your reasoning, no one save for Glock did anything innovative in the US market for quite a stretch of time.

      I think S&W did something pretty good with this cartridge called the 40 S&W though.
