Hate to say it, but I'm moving back

Turns out my marriage is in the toilet with no hope of recovery by will or counseling, so look out CA I'm comin' back!

But I've been a busy bee in OR collecting some choice 2A toys. I'm going to be storing my handguns here because I'm a cheap bastard and won't pay nor register them, but my long arms are coming with. I have a PSL and through this post; http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/s...ghlight=psl54c I see the stock...uh...stock is a no-no.

Now I would like a clarification on the subject; WITH the mag lock the stock is ok or with the lock + replacement stock the weapon is ok. The barrel is the threaded style with Bulgarian style flash suppressor not the stock birdcage(which I still have on my M44 and can switch over). How many and what hoops is this old dog gonna have to aim for?

If you use a mag lock, you can keep the thumb-hole stock. If you want to run featureless you have to fill the stock and get rid of the flash suppressor. Be sure not to import any assembled high capacity magazines.

You should really bring your handguns here, especially the harder to get ones. You could always sell a couple.

So the $19 fee to register your handguns is just too much to handle?

Sorry to hear that...Just put a mag lock and you are good as I have been told a million times due to paranoia. If you can store your goodies there great. I have quite a few friends up there and it is not a bad idea...The magazine is what sucks...I was tempted to bring my 30 rounders disassembled but my future is way to bright to pissss it away because Californians do not fight for their rights and vote demos in office every time they ignorantly can. I sold them for $10 bucks or so...I had 10 of them.

Well, welcome back and yeah, life goes on after a relationship...You have to believe that to start the healing.

          Good luck brother.

            That's 19$ each.

The guns that you owned in California previously, would be exempt from the $19 fee wouldn't they?

That's what I wanted to hear. The PSL isn't a high RoF weapon so a mag lock isn't going to annoy me.

It's not the $19 part that bothers me, it's the other one. All but one of my weapons has been a F2F transfer, I'd rather not change that.

I would think if DROS was done then yes, they would be exempt.

Assuming that the OP had any guns before leaving the state in the first place.

Which he didn't. I have that on good authority.

Marriage in the toilet? A result of the move?

A hope your arsenal grew while you were gone.
