    60 caliber?

    I was reading this short story about zombies (I love zombie stories) and the author mentioned a "60 caliber squad automatic weapon." I have never heard of such a thing... could it be that he is confusing this with an M60? Or does this actually exist? More importantly, is there a .60 round?

                                      How may spheres of pure lead, bore diameter, it takes to add up to 1 pound....damn british.
