Just got back from Texas - gun pics

Just got back from Austin to visit a friend for the weekend. Decided to head Gun's Galore store near Fort Hood army base where he's stationed. Here's some goodies I snapped with my cell phone pic. There was over 3000 guns on display at the store. It was pricey by Cali standards, but no 10 day BS. If I was a Texas resident, I'd be broke!

Afterward, we went to a 100 yard indoor range where we shot a colt Ar15 with trijicon acog mounted.

    Enjoy.

What were the differences in prices say for a G19, Sig 226/229 and an 870 for example?
Don't let the name fool you...

About the same. Glock 17/19 was running about 549 new. Prices were about on par with California. The ruger charger pistol in the pic was 379, sig P556 pistol was 1649. They just had a butt load of variations. Camo, stainless slides, threaded barrels, finishes, sights etc. The place was so packed with firearms, you could only pass single file in the aisles.

Went to Fort Hood's PX and they sold firearms too. DPMS .308 full rifle was about 1400.

The firing range we went to had CMMG plain jane flat top AR was 773, FN SCAR 2349.

By shear coincidence, I just came back from Austin today and visited a few shops over the weekend. My favorite was Sportsman's Finest. They had a 8 inch barreled Saiga 12 shotgun with a folding stock and a true H&K 53. You got to love class III stuff! The best was an Anzio Arms 20MM rifle (or would you call it a cannon?) propped in a corner with a desert tan finish.

Damn, when I was stationed in Hood the best place for guns I believe was Action Pawn. And the PX didn't sell guns at the time. This was back in 96-97.

Not trying to crap on your story, but what is so special about these? Assuming the guns in pic #3 are clones (not AUG and MP5), and none of the other rifles are banned by name, I don't see a single thing that we cannot own here in CA.

With guns that are "pricey by Cali standards", the only upside is; no 10 day wait.
