Does anyone know who has the most reasonable firearms insurance out there. I can get coverage added to my homeowners policy for $0.20 per $100 of value but anyththing valued over $1,000 requires an appraisal for each gun valued over $1,000. I've got a few in that category, and some that are real close.

The price seemed reasonable, but a lot of hoops to jump through. I am with AAA and they have been excellent to deal with on auto claims.

NRA offers automatic coverage to members but it is quite limited. They do offer additional coverage though.

I have a separate rider on my homeowners policy and the only problem I had was having to press the issue that they will in fact cover the long guns I have that do not have serial numbers, regardless of their incorrect interpretation of the GCA of '68.

Thanks. I just looked up the NRA policy and they want $471 for the same amount of coverage. The automatic $1000 coverage would cover the deductable on my homeowners insurance so it looks like AAA is well priced. Looks like I need to get a few appraisals.....

NRA insurance is a RIP OFF. Get your home owners or rental carrier to increase your bandwidth on theft to include your guns.

I priced a few places. I valued a collection at $50,000.00 with a few scheduled guns (over $3,000.00 each)

Are you eligible fir USAA? If so, their coverage on firearms is excellent! They also cover gun accessories. Way cheaper than any prices listed on this thread.

USAA is the lowest I found and I looked really hard !
