    Question about the Para SF-45-A

I am currently deployed to Iraq right now and the unit Im with is trying to order the Para SF-45-A. I am trying to figure out if I can have it in California. I looked at the list of handguns on the list http://certguns.doj.ca.gov/safeguns_resp.asp on this site and didn't see it there. Since it is a custom model for service members its not listed on the Para website so Im trying to get as much info as I can before I purchase it. Any help I can get would be much appreciated.

yeah if it's not on the roster then you can't have it shipped to Cali...

The product code I have for the handgun is PRX1445CB. Looking at the list there are similar ones so it might just be a modded version of one of them. Not sure if that makes a difference or not though.

It needs to be identical. I wasn't sure if it mattered where you were stationed when you bought the gun though.

Welcome, and thanks for your service. How's things over there, we are hearing the locals are trying to buy up guns because of our pull out and they fear more violence, any news you can share?

I can't tell you too much. My mission this deployment is providing security for convoys so we dont deal with any locals on a face to face basis. Things are certainly a lot calmer this deployment compared to around 06-07 but there are still hotspots. Most of the security and patrols outside the wire are provided by the Iraqi security forces.
