AA 1919a4, where can you shoot it?

Since I noted that Allied Armament 1919a4's are on sale...

I was just wondering... where can you shoot it?

Do you just take it down to the local outdoor rifle range? hand the rangemaster the DOJ / ATF letters, and start having fun?

"Hi can I have these 2 shooting benchs to set this up?"

Just seems wrong somehow... BUT LOTS OF FUN!

I saw a guy shooting one at inland fish and game in redlands.
Looked like he was having quite a good time.

that is funny, they are about as anti-EBR as you can get. rules like only 5 rounds in a semi-auto rifle mag

I know several people with 1919's and they regularly shoot them at Angeles range, Lytle Creek, and other places. They are fun little ammo hogs.

I know you can shoot them at Los Altos R&G and Chabot without hassle--showing of documentation not required. Not certain about Sunnyvale or Metcalf, though I don't see why not.

Metcalf, is the closest outdoor range to me. Nice to know they are up on legalities and/or just don't care.

Metcalf is definately a go, I've on occasion seen .50 BMGS and 1919s. Hell, I even found one of our own Calguns AR-15 fliers too.

Took mine to the Angeles yesterday. I just set it up and shot it. I never even thought of asking if it was alright. It's just like any other long gun.
