OK, so my brother is going to two Frontsight classes and needs ammo for the trip. He will be using an AR-10 and a Springfield XD-45. Does anyone know where the best places for that ammo are right now?

Walmart. Lots of ammo in stock @ all the ones around Orange County - big change.

Next is to go to local shooting ranges that sell quality reloads.

Palmetto State Armory on the forums here has some of the best deals once you factor in shipping. Unless you have special discounts/free shipping elsewhere, Palmetto is usually close to the lowest price if not the lowest price.
