Looking to get a shooting vice and rest!

I know these are only made for hunting type rifles, but I was wondering if anyone knows an AR15 would fit onto a shooting vice like the one i have a link to?
The reason why i want to get one is to so that I can sight my iron sights. Since i'm a newb at shooting, i'm having problems sighting in my sights. I do ok at 25yrds but when go to 100 i can't seem to even hit the target sometimes.
Here's a link to big 5 that has one on sale and i wanted to get your opionions.

              How much did it cost?

I've been eyeing this one from the NRA store.

I got this one at big 5 for $30.00. It was on sale. It is 60 regular price. I haven't had the time to try it out. Probably this weekend.

The nra looks better. I wonder how much it costs? Since i'm a NRA memeber I wonder how much of a discount i would get.

I went on the nra website. It's $80 bucks plus shipping. Kind of pricey for me. Plus it seems it's only for righties because of that knob that sticks up on the left side. Also, its on a rest and not a vice, so, not sure how will it hold up when trying to sight it in. But other than that I probably get it if it weren't for the issues i mentioned. Plus it's made for an AR.
The one i got it definitely won't hold a 30 or 20 round mag. But luckily it will hold a 10rd.

How does it work on a AR? Have well does it work on sighting in your rifles? Also, is it padded on the butt stock end and the hand guard rest?

The one i got doesn't work out for me i may have to get this one.

Only other rest I found that could accomodate an AR with a 20 or 30 round magazine, is the Caldwell Lead Solo and it's about $20 more than the NRA rest.
