Try to take better care of them hands after the surgery, regardless of what initially caused it. Get well and get shooting again.

Perfect time to learn to shoot weak hand as good as strong. You know, get a lemon, make lemonade, get a salmon, make salmonella, uh, whatever.

Some years ago, I broke my right hand in an unfortunate incident involving a solid-core door. Since I was in a right-hand cast for almost 2 months, I shot weak-hand for that time. Started with a .22 and worked up. Good way to get your nitrate fix, and a good skill-builder for weak-hand shooting.

Good luck with the surgery. I had both of mine done on the same day over 10 years ago. Pretty good these days, with only occasional problems.

Forgot to ask, where are they cutting? On me, they went through the wrist.

lower palm, dr. today told me the surgery report->ligament was folded in a hourglass shape and directly pinching the median nerve, and was ultra tight to boot..

should be good as new in about 3 months...no handguning, but i should be able to shoot the ar in about 5-6 weeks...
