H&K UMP conversion Lower**Illegal???

Anyone out there know their HK USC/UMP? Not sure if this is the right forum, but I am interested in purchasing a HK UMP lower. I have an out of state source that will sell an UMP lower to me and they assure me that is perfectly legal. Before I go any further, I want to make sure I am not breaking any laws.

Make sure you rock a maglock. It's not covered by NFA right?

If it's just a lower, it's totally legal. The serialized part on an H&K USC/UMP is the upper receiver, not the lower receiver.

Before you assemble it, put a maglock on, and follow all the steps on the AW flowchart.

No prob, I just got mine done.

When it comes time for you to drill the vents in the upper receiver, send a PM to ar15barrels -- he did my vents and did a great job.
