    Using nickel bullets?

As far as I know, nickel isn't used too often when casting bullets, but I saw these on gunbroker http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/Vie...Item=181832695

Is nickel a viable metal to use when casting bullets, or is it just to look pretty for display? Not that I advocate melting down nickel coins or anything

Nickel melts at 2647 degrees F so it would take an industrial furnace to cast it. (Lead melts at 621 degrees F)

I'm willing to bet that these are just nickel plated brass and nickel plated bullets. I have thousands of 5.56 nickel plated SS109s. I have a few nickel plated 50BMG cases as well.
