Good thing you pass along the tradition. My 2 sons received their Perazzi shotguns at age 14 , and my daughter received a Browning Citori at the same age. My daughter received the Browning only because she is not very interested in shooting.

I decided not to be buried with any of my guns because my friends said they were going to bring shovels to the funeral.

My daughter always got a kick out of getting a new gun for her. I had to stop taking her into the gun shops as she always found another rifle/pistol she wanted.

Mine will be given to friends who are gun people. its already set in place.
Congrats on getting the kid out shooting. There are so many parents who dont let their kids go shooting or do things like that. I offered to take my nephews out shooting and possibly hunting ( I would of paid for their hunter class and gotten them some shotguns) and their mom flipped out about violence and gun control and how bad hunting is bla bla bla. I finallyjust gave up. Those boys are gonna grow up to be pansies.

Congrats swiftone and the other dads' too!

Our kids had their first firearms experiences with a 15-22 earlier this year. They loved it.
