    OK, I need some clarification if you all have time/expertise:

    IIRC,
    A search warrant must specify what they are searching for and thus it limits them in what they can look at. Example; if they are looking for a stolen snowmobile they cannot look in your nightstand drawer, but they can look in all rooms of the house, garage, etc.

    My questions are:
    If the warrant specifies that they are looking for illegal weapons does that mean that they cannot look in a locked gun safe unless the safe is specifically noted on the warrant?

    What if you have multiple safes and only gunsafe (singular) is listed on the warrant?
