After going through all the hoops we need to these days the store is now open. Our hard work and planning for that last year has paid off and everything went pretty smooth.
Our opening day that was supposed to only be friends and family but seemed to grow spontaneously and we had a total of around 100 people show up. At one point we could not even move around in the store. Everyone was having a good time talking about guns as gun folks tend to do.
We DROS'ed 4 guns in the first 2 hours, including one to the employee of a local competitor that shall remain nameless.
While our selection is not yet Bass Pro or Cabelas, we are adding new stuff all the time and have more interesting and I think better priced merchandise.
