    Kahr CW9

I recently opted to add a KAHR CW9 to my selection of 3 for CCW and just got it out of jail today. I've been a little apprehensive because of some old hits that KAHR has been taking on the web. However I am pleased to report that the first 250 rounds went very smoothly and I am a happy camper.

Only note to KAHR so far is that the sharp ears on the mags hurt a bit and that the post and dot sites suck.

Congrats on a great gun! I have had my CW9 for a few months now and have about 1k rounds thru it. No problems whatsoever with it. I got with the intent to add it to my ccw permit as a smaller option when needed or as a bug. It has proven itself to me, and I will be adding it to my permit when I have a day off to go to the Sheriff's station and do the paperwork.

The Kahr CW9 is my primary CCW firearm, I absolutely love it. It's very light, thin, and the trigger is perfect for the pad of my finger. In over 800 rounds since new, I have never had a FTF.

Great little guns!! Also a great LEO back up or off duty gun. Especially for those who carry a full sized GLOCK on duty. Same principal of operation. So less chance of a brain fart.

My CW9 shares time with my Springfield EMP as carry pieces

Do any of you guys have any issues with the magazine springs so weak that they won't trip the slide stop???? I do on all mine. If they could make them just a little stronger.

Quite the opposite here. I have a 7 and an 8 rounder for mine, and the 8 rounder spring could be used to hurl rocks at castle walls. Way stronger than it needs to be.

If it is happening with all you mags, Id suspect that it is an issue with your slide stop...I'd call the factory about it. they might just send a new one out
