I could add to the speculation that there's a temporary hangup around their ability to accept credit cards as payment. And many businesses won't take checks at all, so cash is what's left. Not taking credit cards could be anything from not buying the cellular credit card machine, to paperwork surrounding business transitions, to more dramatic stuff.

        badlandsbutch,

I find that very interesting..... Their store is open but not selling guns BUT they are at the shows?????

        sierratangofoxtrotunion,

Their situation get more mysterious every time we discuss it. Most likely they can't get credit cux basically there forming a new store along with a new name. Regardless of the situation I wish both parties good luck. Personally I have no super need for a nother toy this year unless it's a super nice price.
Besides that until they reform a new organization it's safer for me to head to Riflegear or Ammo Bros.

Have a super nice Labor Day you all,

Based on the posting that I've seen here, it seems that the Highland store is being run by the wife, and will soon be up and running selling guns under a new FFL and a different name.

If Hector was at the show, it could be that he's using his existing FFL to operate under the CWS name, but may not yet have a storefront.

It's hard to tell with all of the verified and unverified chatter.

              Cokebottle,

Nope... Hector's ex wifle runs the Texas store and he and the new wife runs the Highland store. That's how I understand it.
