    Attn: Orange County Shooters

    Hey all,
A few friends and I are starting a Practical shooting club in Orange County.

We will be shooting practical type matches more or less like a Tuesday Tactical thing. We want this to be a fun and learning environment!

The rules will not be to strict but safety will matter! We will run beginner and advance courses. I still have to work to do. Working on getting the liability insurance and working a deal out with a couple ranges.

Most likely, the events will run at Evans in Orange.

We are looking at a yearly membership fee to cover range supplies and range time. Members will get special perks J

If you are interested in joining us, please visit us at www.ocgunfighters.com. I should have the site 100% up and running by the end of the week.

The end point to this is to have fun and show new shooter the excitement of shooting practical matches. We need shooters of all skill sets!

Come on OC, let's get to shootin!

    Chris,

That sounds like a great idea with a whole buncha fun also. I do hope your shooting club grows, as we do need more and more shooters in Southern California.

Everything sounds great, except the Evan's range part.

Good luck man, good on you for starting this.

        Thanks,

We may be able to hit up Insite Shooting Range in Artesia as soon as they upgrade their bullet trap. I need a range with the rubber bullet trap and Evans is it.

Go talk to Fred at Socal Sharpshooters in Torrance. He does his West Coast Tactical courses at an indoor range, in front of the stands.

Insight is farther for me, but I'd go for the Insight Range. The folks there are nice.

We could use more RKBA volunteers in Orange County. Joining in and spending a couple of afternoons pitching in now could make the difference of being able to keep shooting in the years ahead.
