ok go easy on me.. (new guy) i tryed the serch on here an google.. where can i find the list of either legal guns - rifles for calif or non legal.. i know i seen it on here before but for some reason cant find it

The only illegal guns (unless they were registered) are contained in the assault weapons flow charts...

Illegal by name or feature.
If by feature, in most cases, a magazine locking device negates the illegality.

However, if you are talking about purchasing a new handgun, there are a bunch that are not on the safe handgun roster.
They are not illegal to own, and are not illegal to buy/sell person to person, but they can't be imported through an FFL or bought from a dealer other than a consignment sale:

Other than those lists, anything that is legal in the other 49 states is legal in California.
