I just returned from the Cow Palace gun show and thought I would share my impressions.
Disclaimer: I have attended only a few other gun shows that were in Bakersfield and San Jose, so my standards are probably much lower than those of you who have a lot of gun show experience. Also, I came with the agenda of making purchases from CWS, and since they were there I am very happy.
This gun show was probably the best gun show I have ever been to (note disclaimer). There was a wide selection of AR/AK parts and accessories available from multiple vendors, and CWS had CA approved AK's and Saigas on hand. There are plenty of shotguns and a few handguns around, lots of stocks for mini-14/30's, tons of mags (including AR 10 rounders for $15), and plenty of other parts.
Of course, there are also the ever-present non-gun vendors. There are a few knife vendors, including TOPS knives, which had an impressive display. Then the usual jerky, coins, etc.
Overall I am glad I went.
