For you non industry folk, the SAR show is in August. 23-26 to be exact. And yes it's in Las Vegas this time!

do what i do when i go to vegas for CES for the past eons...

stay a motel since i drive anyways. almost always half what the hotels are charging.

plus the one i stay at has free wifi these days.

Yes, just fill out the attendee registration & put whatever info. applies. Several C&R vendors attend & offer "show specials" on C&R rifles.

LEO also applies, or go as your local gun shops representative (sign-up using their shop info. and FFL#). There's several ways through the door. Just remember no guests are allowed (wife & kids).

I use my C&R to go. Not sure how I got my first invite. Could've been from my C&R or ordering from Brownells, or both. My wife goes with me, no problem.

My parents have a spare house in Vegas so I will be staying there, free!

I don't recommend ordinary subjects of this state go because it is too depressing to see everything you can't buy. That was my experience in 2002 when I went with my C&R credentials.

2006 was different because I was a reall FFL looking for real deals and not just looking at the eye candy. Plus, in 2002 I bought a FAB-10 after seeing all the goodies. By February 2006 I had 7 or 8 real lowers in my safe!!! What a difference Harrott makes!

Speaking of which, I haven't told the story about how Harrott came by my shop the other day when I wasn't there.
