Very good point and nice dog by the way.

Had you ever email them and ask them to put stuff aside for you ahead of time? It seem to work very well for me, go in, walk past the jerkies (sorry), pay for the stuff, walk around for cleaning supplies and other stuff, and finally let them keep my ID hostage while I borrow one of those hard-cart / dolly heehee...

I hit the MilWal reloading table first, than their ammo table and make a trip to the car. Than check out CWS table before I walk the whole show. Get there as the door opens and I'm on the road by 10:30. I always take a small day pack to haul stuff around in. One year some how ened up with over 50#s of bullets, almost did not make it back to my truck.

IMHO you should go at least once just to see the show for yourself.

I went to the crossroads of the west gun show last weekend in Utah. It was ~ 40% guns, 20% ammo, 10% tacticool stuff and 30% jewlery/baggage and food storeage

I've been using a pair for a couple of years now. They work quite well, better than my big muffs. I'll be headed over this weekend to get a set made for my son.

I doubt I can make it early enough to get any ammo, though. Reading this thread, they'll all be out by noon.

I have used the custom plugs for about four years. They are really great. The big muffs were always pulling out my earring.

Bingo. good strategy. That's what I did last time. Got in line 10min before the hour.
At the last Cow show I was miwalls first transaction of the day

                              I will go.
                              As usually I go at Saturday 10.00 - 13.00
If you looking for ammo - at Saturday after 13.00 - 14.00 and Sunday - maybe you will not find what are you looking for.
I never bought a gun or rifle at gun show.

If you going to bring something to sell it - no big deal. Just show at front door to security or cop that you have handgun or rifle with gun lock on it.

Thank you both greatly for getting back to me on this. Muffs work great but they get in the way a little.
