Hey, noobie here looking to put together my first AR soon. I would like to ask whats the difference between these two? Do i have to buy gas for the gun, or does the gun somehow make the gas ( i dont know how to ask the question correctly, hope you understand!) Thanks guys

Is the rate of fire slower using the Adams piston? Why can't someone just make a self blowback system for the ar15? pistons and gas systems make things complicated. it could be so much easier and more reliable, might lose a little accuracy, that's about it.
