    Flash Suppressor or Muzzle Brake?

Can I use one of these on a gripless build?

From the small diameter of the bullet exit and the presence of a baffle around it, I'd say it's a brake.

Shouldn't be a problem as long as it is sold as a muzzle brake. Keep in mind that the DOJ's definition of a MB and their testing process to determine it is muddy at best.

It's helpful (and consistent w/some DOJ discussion) that it's marketed as a brake and not at all as a flash hider.
