But in all seriousness, I'm just about as giddy as a schoolgirl because I just sent off my payment for a Yugo RPK kit with bipod. But I noticed the seller is located in Wasilla, AK and couldn't help but giggle. Wish me luck!

Thanks, this will be my first ACTUAL AK build. I've got an unconverted Saiga, but I thought it would be more fun to start from "scratch."

That, and the price of the kit are what really sold me on the whole endeavor. I got the kit for a steal of a price on Gunbroker from a guy who not only ships to California but ENCOURAGES it. I thanked him for being willing to deal with Californians and he sent me a very nice e-mail about how happy he was to help spread firearms around the country.
