They've been doing this the past 3 years. They started this after being bought by the anti-gun Steve Westly influenced Ebay. However in my case a fellow gun person known on gun boards reported one of my ads on Gunsamerica cause he was pissed off I included Paypal in my ad. He had a vendetta to stop Paypal. Instead of sending me an email informing me of Paypal's anti-gun practices he jsut reported it to them. Bastard. I already removed PP from all my ads, but this was an old one I missed. That dick sent me an email to get info to buy it, I know it was him cause my Gunsamerica name and email with that account didn't link to Paypal. He was the only reply ever to the ad and within a 3 days Paypal froze the account and sent me an email with a link to the ad as the offending issue. This one jerk - ONE OF US - felt his rightous boycott was heroic enough to cause me trouble, but it was actually my wife's account. Paypal didn't close the account but cited me on wanting proof it was removed from my ad. Changed the ad & sent them the link and they reactived her account. But I told them I would never use their services ever again for anything.

I think their also hypocritical because you can sell gun parts on Ebay, and they will let you link their payment website to the auction to pay.

It's all about the "spare parts" or "prototypes"...

THe best thing that ever happened to me was Pay Pal shut my account down. Now I just use my own credit card machine at a nicer rate. Screw Pay Pal.
www.tenpercentfirearms.com was open from 2005 until 2018. I now own Westside Arms.

Recently I sold an AR rifle kit in the for sale forum, buyer paid with Paypal using "DPMS A2 Up" in the subject, and Paypal closed my account.

When they close your account, do they sieze all the funds in it? Or do they deposit 'em into your bank account?

In my case the only thing I was allowed to do on my account was withdraw funds, which I did right away!
