There is no limit on the size of a folding knife in Ca. It's only for fixed blades. You can pocket carry a sword if it folded.To compel a man to subsidize with his taxes the propagation of ideas which he disbelieves and abhors is sinful and tyrannical.

Quick run down on CA Knife laws.
Folders, any length, concealed = OK (if you can conceal an 18" folder, go for it)
Fixed blades, any length (yes even the under 2" knives), concealed = Felony
Folders and Fixed blades, carried openly, Some County/City Ordinances prohibit to under 3" blade length, check you local ordinances.sigpic
