    Leupold Riflemen Scopes?

Most everytime I am at Wally World I find myself checking out the Leupold Riflemen scopes. Any here have one?

Apparently they have "continuous tension" adjustments rather than click. Do these hold up as well under long range sessions etc?

Wondering whether these are intended for lots of shooting or more for a hunter who zeroes it and then doesnt fire much.

they are no deal at all. they have a nice warranty, but so what. Loopy's R&D has lagged for a long time. you can't find hardly any other manufacturer that would put their name on a scope with friction adjustments. not even BSA. Loopy only does that to create an artificial difference between their low end products to justify price difference. If Loopy cared, they would put multicoating and click adjustment on all their scopes, like everybody else does at a minimum. they have the stuff to do it.

the rifleman used to be the lamest VX or Vari-X scope, but they were so underfeatured and obsolete Loopy just gave them a new name.

    buyer beware.

get more scope for less money with any other brand.

I have heard some good words about the Super Sniper. Thinking about getting one myself.

Go to ARF.com Group Buys; there they are trying to get a group buy on them, I am in for two, if it ever happens.

Yeah, group buys are definatly worth it, I went in with about 20 other guys in class last week and picked up a VX-III Long Range Target 8-24x50mm for $450, that scope is usually in the $700-800 range
