    LE Only handgun ammunition

What exactly does the "Law Enforcement Only" designation on Remington Golden Sabre bonded ammuntion in .357 SIG mean. (#GSB357SA) Does CA not allow non-LEOs to posses it?

    Thanks
    Jim

It really doesn't mean a damn thing. (Legal for non-LEO to own)
I carry Winchester Ranger 9mm ammo and it too has the LEO designation.

As far as I know, it is only illegal to own if it is otherwise prohibited, (tracer or AP). Maybe if a type of ammo is specific to only one agency and the boxes are marked as such a case could be made for the ammo being stolen....but then again, who stole it? Other cops. You ever wonder why there are locks on the lockers in a Police locker room? I have shot many varieties of "LE Only" ammo and never had anybody say a word.

As I understand it, the JHP LEO only ammo is strictly designated that by the factory, not by any laws. They also restrict selling it to only LEO dealers but some always finds its way into private hands. Tracer and AP is very different.

Just 'Remington Policy' to sell to LEO only. I too carry Winchester SXT RA9TA , which is 'leo only'.

Perfectly legal to posess and shoot bad guys with in CA.
